History of Phi Chi Chapter

Phi Chi Chapter, Incorporated had its beginning as the “Chi Club” in Augusta, Georgia on October 8, 1976. It was organized by Mary Jones, a local nurse and National Tamias of Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Incorporated along with 18 others. Phi Chi Chapter was chartered on May 21, 1977 in Augusta, GA at the Omega Fraternity House. Mary Jones is the chapter organizer. There were 34 charter members.
